COMPETITION RULES STATE: Players (Juniors/Seniors) must play a minimum of 50% of the games available in their Grade/Age Group Division to be eligible to play in the season’s semis/finals.
The actual number of games required each season for eligibility will be decided by the BWPI Committee, during the latter part of the season.
The number of games, based on the games offered in the various competitions during that season, will be decided for players who have been playing all season and also for players who have only played in the second half of the season.
PROCEDURE:
Assess the number of games played, based on a player’s (legible) signature on the game cards.
A bye is credited as a game, if a player has played the game immediately before and after the bye.
Missed games, due to injury (Doctor Certificates are NOT accepted), pregnancy, work commitments, music/dance exams, cricket trials etc, are not counted.
If a player has insufficient games for eligibility, the player or his/her Club can apply in writing to the BWPI Committee for special consideration, stating his/her case in full.
